The Happening: Vivid Sydney 27 May- 13 June 2011

It's the hype in Sydney at the moment (besides fashion week), the annual return of Vivid Sydney. For our international friends who aren't aware of the event, Vivid Sydney sees the whole city come alight at night time with crazy, vibrant displays of lights, seen across buildings, artworks and the famous Sydney Opera House. Not only is the light show spectacular, the music just keeps getting better and better with each year, and it's safe to say that 2011 will be the best display of music yet.

The famous Opera House music line up will be curated by the talented founder of Modular Records, Steven Pavlovic. Across Sydney artists playing include Bat For Lashes, Cut Copy, Tame Impala, Architecture in Helsinki and The Cure, plus many more. Impressed yet? The Cure were only just announced this week, and have so far caused the biggest excitement with news they will film their show live (a massive 3 hour set) which will cover the bands first three albums in entirety.

All the details of Vivid Sydney including ticket info can be found here. It's well worth checking out!
