The Happening: Weekend Gig Guide around Aus

Happy friday y'all- let us know what you're up to this weekend, or leave a shout out below for your top weekend gig!

We throw in our two cents every Friday with our top picks for the weekend, so check them out below in case you don't have plans as yet..

Canyons, Family Nightclub

Canyons should be making their way into your album collection this year, and they are playing tonight at Family Nightclub- catch them in their dj set.

Details: March 18th, Family Nightclub, 9pm start (kicks on into the wee hours)

Paul Kalkbrenner, Brown Alley, CBD

With 15 years under his decks working in both music production and live acts, Paul Kalkbrenner is one of those artists that everyone should see at least once in their lives.
If you miss him in Melbourne tonight, you could always fly up to Sydney and catch his gig on Saturday at Chinese Laundry! (we'd catch him two nights in a row if we could)

Details: March 18th, Brown Alley, 10pm start, tix on door from $30

Mark Ronson and Bag Raiders, Surry Hills

We mentioned this gig earlier in the week, but it's too good not to mention again. Mark Ronson will be playing a free gig this Sunday in Surry Hills supported by the Bag Raiders.

Details: March 20th, 5.30pm start, free entry, Prince Alfred Park, Surry Hills
