The Happening: Weekend Gig Guide around Aus

Happy friday y'all- let us know what you're up to this weekend, or leave a shout out below for your top weekend gig!

We throw in our two cents every Friday with our top picks for the weekend, so check them out below in case you don't have plans as yet..

BRISBANE & GOLD COAST
Canyons, Family Nightclub

Canyons should be making their way into your album collection this year, and they are playing tonight at Family Nightclub- catch them in their dj set.

Details: March 18th, Family Nightclub, 9pm start (kicks on into the wee hours)

MELBOURNE
Paul Kalkbrenner, Brown Alley, CBD

With 15 years under his decks working in both music production and live acts, Paul Kalkbrenner is one of those artists that everyone should see at least once in their lives.
If you miss him in Melbourne tonight, you could always fly up to Sydney and catch his gig on Saturday at Chinese Laundry! (we'd catch him two nights in a row if we could)

Watch the Aussie BBQ at Bowery Room, New York

As you may be aware we are the official clothing sponsors for the Aussie BBQ as part of SXSW this year, and have been on a musical journey around Canada and America over the past week (with more to come over the next two weekends!)

The Aussie BBQ hit up New York last weekend at the Bowery Room, and we wanted to share with you a short clip and some pics of some of the artists involved.

Update: SXSW Line up changes

Whilst we wait patiently for the Aussie BBQ this weekend at SXSW, there are a number of gigs in the coming days that we have had our hearts set on seeing. Unfortunately it's been announced that both Lupe Fiasco and Cee Lo Green are now unable to play due to illness.

Therefore new acts have been included and the live streaming line up will change to the following for Thursday night at La Zona Rosa, SXSW:

9:30pm XV
10:00pm Donnis
10:30pm B.o.B
11:15pm Wiz Khalifa
12:00am Janelle MonĂ¡e

Remember for everyone unable to attend you can live stream the gig from the SXSW site here. If you're at SXSW let us know by tweeting at us or shouting out on Facebook!
